Walkaway from something unhealthy is good. But why do we fear to walk away?

Short Story

Sophia was in a toxic relationship with James. James use to torture and abuse her every night. Sophia was supposed to walk away from the relationship. But she was with him because of her 3 year old kid. She could walk away with her kid, but she has no job and she was not ready to leave her kid for any reason, she was afraid of the path she is going to travel. Even though we fear the other side, we all knew good things are on the other side of fear.

My thoughts

Sophia was not in the right place. She should’ve walked away from James for a better life. For Sophia the priorities set wasnt right, sentiments and financial pains, the fear of future. She is not happy and she is not living a good life, that should be the first priority. But for her, she was accepting her abusive relationship instead of walking away. That is not a brave thing to do.

This is just one real life scenario.

Not only a toxic relationship, you will have a toxic colleague, or toxic friends and toxic bad habits which actually ruins your life to death. Don’t be foolish to call yourself brave because you are facing the reality, walk away from such unhealthy relationships and peple. Be wise and walk way, walking away from something unhealthy is also “Brave”.

Thats my girl.. walk away…. 😉. Wait 🧐 is that a girl 🙄🤔🥺🤪

  1. I love the quote. Yes, there are time when walking away is a brave thing to do. No woman should stay in a toxic relationship. But no mother should leave her kid, if she love her kid.

  13. Hey hey hey!!!💚,i would love time traveling🌈, we fear to walk away, because we never know what comes after i guess👽, i never understand why people stay together because of children only, the kids can feel, that something is not okay and i think it can effect them too.
    🤗Better to walk away or just smash him?😂
    Finances is important, but there should be some help from states for singles mums, or family or friends? Who could help at least for very beginning💚

  16. When I experience anxiety, I am too scared to walk away. If I am not in an anxious situation, I have an easy time staying away.

    I think it is fear of the abusive person doing something worse when they try to leave that makes it hard. When I sexually assaulted by my friend, I was scared to leave and force them to stop because I thought they would hurt me worse than they already were. Like pin me down or threaten me

  18. Hey Michelle! I appreciate you sharing this point. Everytime when i fear i get more anxious and just like you felt i feel the same way. But that situation is wrongz the wrong has to be made right and that should be you, me. Think about what happens after correcting the wrong. Think about a happy life after coming out of that bad time. Focus. It is hard to do. But doing that will only bring happiness.   21. Hey Simon, great post! A person shouldn’t stay in a bad situation, it could end up getting even worse, maybe the kid getting hurt or abused as well. Best to leave. And there should be government help for people like this, we have that here, so finances are not a problem. Family could and should help too. Situations like this are dangerous. I hope your day goes well Simon!🙂🌞

  23. It is something that every country should have to help out women in these situations. That way they know there will be help for them and it makes it an easier decision to get out of there. It’s been a good week though cold and rainy. But I’m continuing to get better so that is good also. My day is beginning, a couple hours ago really, it’s 2C, still dark, might see the sun a bit today though which would be real nice! Enjoy your evening Simon!😃😺🌞
