Choose your time

Her Everyone!

Today I suppose to write and publish my last chapter of Sky stuck in a dream. I’m busy with my month-end activities, hope the few readers of mine will not mind that delay. So coming to today’s topic.

Choose your time

Choose your time, choose what you do in the time you have. These days if you think you use your time wisely, as you wanted, I would like to tell you my friend, your time is stolen by some one you knew, and many you never know!

Here’s some few examples

  • Watching WhatsApp status, Instagram status and all statuses from all application, your curiosity to see THAT, lost time
  • Watching social media feeds, scrolling scrolling all day, THAT, you lost time
  • Watching videos from all applications you have and laughing at it for no reason
  • Watching the news you never going to remember or talk about it
  • Reading a news article about something you’ll ever remember

What can we do about it?

  • Can we stop using mobiles? NO
  • Can we stop watching TV? NO
  • Can we stop reading? NO

How to choose our time?

Be selfish, yes, that’s my first piece of advice. It’s not wrong to be selfish my dear friend.

To have something healthy for the mind is definitely not selfish. Watching someone’s status might excite you, make you laugh, or sometime it might depress you too. Watching a news that never going to remember or useful is something you are wasting, media=negativity, internet=negativity. In our generation, the thing that goes viral are negative news, tragedy, media never talks too long about good things, unless the good thing is about someone famous. News articles are written for to pass time.

Forget about all the negativity I mentioned in the above paragraph.

But, do remember, to watch status of people that gives you peace of mind, or informations that will make you grow and stay positive. Watch news when you need something, like weather, market situation or if your face comes in it. Read articles that you needed badly for your career or personal life/growth. Choose your time for the good things, and avoid doing things that eat up your time, 90% of young population looks at their mobile as the first thing in their morning, instead look outside, watch the nature, look at your husband, wife or kids or parents that sleeps in your house, watch their weird sleeping positions wake them up, start the day energetically.

We all don’t know how much time we have left, let’s not live a life that is mechanical and waste our time on doing something irrelevant, do something useful, do something for yourself, choose your time.

Remind yourself that one good thing that will make you feel energetic, happy, and alive?

And how much time you spend for it in a day? is it for priority?

If you don’t have time, think about it again, you do have time, you just have to choose it. Choose your time.

Thanks for reading βœ¨πŸ’

  1. First thing I do in the morning is pull out my phone and read chapter of an online novel I did not complete the night before πŸ˜‚
But you’re so right about choosing time. Time management is hard. I give up on it. Instead I now set the time when I can be in my phone and in the internet because social media can eat your time like no other can.
And yep. It’s totally fine to be selfish sometimes.

  3. Time is one of the things we can’t control unfortunately…in our busy life is very difficult to choose the time…even if I try my best to use my time wisely, sometimes I do have the feeling that is wasted…but ignoring as much as we can the mobile phone and living the present, enjoying our surroundings and family is something that we can do πŸ˜‰
Selfish? I’m the queen of selfishness πŸ˜‰πŸ€©
