Book Review : Dread – Author Aseem Rastogi

Introduction

Book cover is so perfect and goes perfect with the story title, Author of this book Aseem Rastogi did a good job to attract readers to his book with his awesome introduction.

Thesis

Dread is a collection of short stories, that will take you through different hard realities with a touch of superstition and will tease you through your darkest fears each chapter takes you through different world.

Content

It’s a total of 5 chapters, I’ve given my views on each, simple and short.

The dark secret of the grasslands

The story about a couple adventure, this is my favourite of all, because they had that touch of love and fun that all couple usually has, but the end really shocked me, you must read that and find that what is there in store for you to shock. My favourite and the way author takes us Inside the story is so good.

Into the night

I hate graveyard shift, did you? Because author had given me goosebumps, and you’ll think about this story when you are in a graveyard shift. An interesting read.

Flight or Fright

A loving family a beautiful kid and father daughter chemistry did came out so good, and the ending was very well written. A must read one, because anything can happen at anytime, find out what had happened here.

The night that was

Totally unexpected twist and turns, this is a bad dream of someone’s reality, author did portrayed the happy part and the emotions of an individual when cornered with fake accusations, what happened? Please read and find out.

Dark places

Last but not least, Dark places will definitely will bring goosebumps to you.

Conclusion

Being a horror story fan and writing horror stories his stories are simply amazing and took me to 5 different worlds of horror at one stretch.
