Power of Positivity
Before we rise from a tragedy before we achieve the goal before we rise from the ashes, One should strongly believe that they CAN DO. And that comes from a positive mindset. And this is what we call the “Power of Positivity”
Jadav Payeng
A 60-year-old farmer with a family of five, from a small village from Assam from a tribe now is famous for “Molai Kothani Forest”.
One day he saw the nearby forest dying, animals left the place, and a lot of plants dying, Forestry division tried to restore and gave up. But Jadav Payeng did not, he decided to plant different species of trees, so he cut a branch from one of his trees, and walked for 20 mins, took a boat crossed the river, and walked for an hour and chose an empty piece of land and planted a tree, he did the same thing day after day, 3 months a year, year after year, for 40 yrs until one day it became a real forest called “Molai Kothani”. It is about 550 hectares big which is bigger than a central park in new york. After many years, animals started to show up and they started to live and now it is becoming a home for a lot of animals. he is now called “The forest man of India” and he still plants trees!
This man had that positive mindset that he could save that big forest all by himself, and he believed that he can do it, that power of positivity gave him the name “The forest man of India”.
Power of Positivity can change anything and anyone and you have just read one of a real example from India.

“The forest man of India”, how interesting! I agree with you on this, it is so important to stay positive. I have seen that even when I am having bad days, if I choose to even pretend to be happy, I naturally find myself feeling happy after a while because my brain starts to look for any little thing that will make me smile. I really don’t think we have to be ‘perfect’ and ‘sorted’ in order to feel happy, because that’s a goal that is unattainable. It is a matter of attitude – when we adopt a positive frame of mind, we become happy. It does not depend on external causes, it comes from within us!
