September 2, 2021, prompt: In 99 words (no more, no less), write a story to the theme, “not everyone fits a prom dress.” You can take inspiration from Ellis Delaney’s song, the photo, or any spark of imagination. Who doesn’t fit and why? What is the tone? You can set the genre. Go where the prompt leads!
Haunted Prom Dress
Group of college students walked into an abandoned hotel for thrill.
One of them opened a room and there was a prom dress, bright and shiny. Amazed with what he saw, he tried to call his mates.
Before he does, he disappeared!
The moment he opened his eyes, he was wearing the dress.
His plea for help, scared his friends away, since then he is missing.
The investigations found a simple note
“Not everyone fits a prom dress, the one that fits will disappear”
The missing guy screamed, nobody heard his plea, all they saw is hung prom dress.
The End!
wild imagination!!

It did work. I now want you to write a casual story with details of the characters sipping Tea / Coffee along with some nice snacks. In fact, I too am thinking of writing such a story. Enough of living seriously, maturely, career and family oriented every day !!

Ha! If you go looking for a thrill you’re bound to find one. This had a classic ghost story/ScoobyDoo feel to it.

I liked ScoobyDoo cartoons too, but the tension when they’d ALWAYS split up! Later it was The X-Files, Scully and Mulder would always split up, very nerve wracking.

Wow, another one like Scooby-Doo. I am yet to watch X-Files ☺️ I should spend sometime on it🙃 hopefully it will keep me busy 😍 Thanks for recommendation ❤️

Definitely watch the X-Files, Simon! They have classic monster episodes like your classic (and rather classy, after all it is the haunting of a prom dress) ghost story.
