April 7 question – Are you a risk-taker when writing? Do you try something radically different in style/POV/etc. or add controversial topics to your work?

Answer

I sincerely believe in “As a blogger/writer it is good to experiment with different styles of writing, through mistakes we grow to perfection. “

I’ve tried writing from a third person POV, second person POV, and took some interesting topics, I haven’t took any controversial topics yet, maybe the concept of giving equal rights to genders in my story. Not sure how many readers have noticed it, some have shared their genuine thoughts about it. But writing from different POV is too good at imagining, but the right words gets misplaced sometimes.

I sometime lose the plot or make it more confusing to understand my plot with my present past grammatical tenses. I start with present jump to past and all of a sudden it will be present continuous or past, I am not good at these terms (sometimes – sighs), I start with a motivation of writing in past, some wrong choice of words actually makes it a imperfect grammar tense. I wish I could create one called ” IGT – imperfect grammar tense” or it already exist?

My reading habits have improvised my writing skills, if I compare my writing form from day 1 to today, I have improved on a scale of 4 out of 10. I still have a long way to improve, keep testing, keep learning. I suggest the new writers to try writing, try experimenting, most importantly read books, more books = more knowledge = more writing lessons.
