Burger – 2

Next morning, Aswin woke up. Blake was above him, Aswin rolled him down ‘Get off me you big Blake’

Blake rolled down and continued to snore.

Aswins dad opened the door and looked at two of them, a disgusting face as if he saw some pigs on mud. He shook his head in disappointment and closed the door.

Aswin threw his pillow on Blake ‘Get up! we need to go out’

Blake ‘We are doing the same thing for two months now, can I just sleep today. I need a break, plus I’m resigning from this company’

Aswin stared at him ‘you can’t resign, no companies will give an offer like this, plus, I will give a break, your leg’

Blake woke up in shock and protected his legs ‘Offer? this isn’t an offer this is torture! breaking my legs is cruelty.’

Aswin got up ‘you talk like women you know? complaining all the time?’

Blake raised his eyebrows ‘Excuse me? I’m trying to save my leg from my friend, and You are talking against women, you are a what feminist ? or is it machoism what do they call that term in English ?’

Aswin retorted ‘do you even know what does that mean?’

Blake scratched his boxers ‘Stop asking questions, Can we go out ?’

Aswin replied ‘I asked first’, Blake laid back again.

Aswin walked to the balcony and looked at the pool and closed his eyes, a girl voice in his head ‘ever jumped from the balcony?’

Aswin replied ‘No way, to get hurt? no idiot will do’

The voice replied ‘This is the thrill aswin, come out of your nest, come on jump, let me count one, two’

Aswin stopped her ‘No No please in his mind voice’

Aswin with his eyes closed jumped in the pool.

Aswin’s Dad was beside pool in his tuxedo talking to his friend was drenched in water when he fell.

He wiped his face and commented ‘He learnt business or how to be a stupid in London?’

Aswin and Blake got themselves ready and walked out of their house.

They both walked into a hotel. Aswin looked at Blake ‘Why are you always with me, why don’t you get?’ he was stopped in middle by Blake

Blake retorted ‘What can I do? I was the best friend to a rich kid, and my dad got a promise from your dad that he will take care of me before he passed away, my fate, basically and drastically and luckily’

Aswin stopped him ‘I didn’t asked liked that, I asked like, when will you get married?’

Blake looked at the mirror ‘I don’t know,I have all the qualities, but girlfriend ? that is not happening. I think my fate is to be with you, imagine that we both together at our age of 60’

Aswin shook his head ‘Why did I asked you? I can’t even imagine that crap. Can we just eat?’

They both bought burgers and sat together. Blake said ‘You know he is the only guy here still sells burger for us? in the morning? Wait, let me go loo and come back soon.’

Aswin nodded his head, and he started to eat as soon he left.

Blake ‘Hello, excuse me, Im your best friend, can you not wait for 5 minutes ?’

Aswin looked at him blankly ‘No, I am hungry!’

Blake shook his head with disappointment ‘You will never change, when have you waited for me?’

Aswin finished his last bite of burger, his mind took him back to the past, the girl voice played ‘Hi, excuse me, you have finally finished eating? can you hear me?’

Aswin nodded his head.

she replied ‘Are you deaf? I’ve been calling you and you got so busy eating ?

Aswin wiped his lips with tissues and stammered ‘I’m I’m sorry’

She accepted his apology ‘ it’s okay, you are sitting on my profile, can I have it back’ she said

Aswin nervously got up and gave her file and apologised again

She understood he is a nervous kind of guy and helped to calm his mind, ‘hey it’s okay, I’m Samaira, what’s yours?’ she gave her hand to shake.
