Be Patient (Adj) – Be able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.”be patient, your time will come”
With so many things happening around the world, majority of the population worried about their money, Job, getting married, how to get settled despite of their country’s inflation, despite of having a deadly disease roaming around across country without passports. With the current happenings around the world, we all must have realized at this point, that life is too short, and everything is temporary.
Everything is temporary, learn to live the present with patience. Majority of you have your goals based on the pressure you get from society or get inspired to become someone like you have already seen, but the real problem of all the above is not having goals or running behind a material illusion, the real problem is expecting it soon. People seek shortcut, or a quick way to growth.
That is the way our society is pushing you, isn’t it? Let me show you some example. Imagine I give you an internet connection with a speed of 10 Gbps and you are getting it at 1mbps forget about the speed in numbers, I cannot imagine your face, looking at your computer screen like you have constipation issues.
This example is for all the chef that doesn’t like/know cooking, if I give them a pack of noodle that can be cooked in 2 mins, they cook in 1:59 mins or 1:30 mins, if I give the same noodles to a foodie that loves to cook, will take at least ten minutes to add it’s beauty and taste and they will enjoy the real taste of the noodle, well cooked and tastier.
Our real life is also like that, we need patience, we should be like a foodie that cooks an instant noodle not instantly. You might have goals, like having a healthy life, fit physique, free from diseases, having own house, to earn millions, and lot more. But have that patience, don’t sacrifice your personal life for a goal, that will only leads you to ear noodle without added taste. If you wait, and take one step at a time and have perfect work life balance, you can have your goals eventually like the foodie, have everything with added taste and memories.
Our society can teach us to be fast, to become successful before others do, earn more and live longer, Just remember this everything is temporary, and you’ll never get satisfied with money and success. Don’t get inspired by people that have everything with nothing, be an inspiration for the next generation by showing the real importance of life and have goals that doesnot compromise the real happiness and teach kids to have patience and be patient to yield a better result at anything they do.
It’s okay, to read a 200 page book for a month, it’s okay to wait for 6 digit salary, it’s okay to become the person the world admires, it’s okay to be sick, don’t let the world define your way of living and success, you define your life, you define your success by being patient.
The real taste of life is in enjoying every little moment and by being patient to have the expected goals achieved. There is no age limit to achieve anything, you can achieve it anytime by being patient at what you do. Be patient my friend, there is no taste in having an instant noodle just like that. isn’t it π. Be a Foodie of Life with patienceβ¨

The need for Instant gratification is the reason there is 2-day delivery when items are ordered on-line. It seems to be the curse of people in a technological world. Instant downloading of your favorite series or movies is another example.
You bring up some good points.

Hahaha…be a foodie! Great example Simon! ππ
You are right…in todayβs society weβre always on a run and once we achieve something we immediately want something else…the marathon never ends…and in all this we forget to enjoy it, we forget to be patient! We should appreciate more our life and take it easy, learn to be patient and enjoy every moment! π

Still feeling the effects of this virus. My doc says I could be fighting these things for months yet, they really don’t know how long some of the effects will last, or if they will ever go away. Meantime I have to be very careful and try not to overdo things. The reason I am so worn out these days is because I have been doing too much, I need to rest more. That is so hard to do in the summer. But if I wear myself out too much it could leave some permanent damage or that virus could hit me again. Sigh. Looks like the sun is starting to shine. Have a great evening Simon!ππΊ

Everything is so true I keep nodding. Things that comes after patiently waiting are so worth it… yet to be honest I’m still learning because I’m an impatient person π
