Life Lesson Vers 3 – Humility

What is Humility?
Having or showing a modest or low estimate of one’s importance.

Why it is important?

It is important, and basic quality of being a good human being, because in most situations it is the right thing to do. Being humble means you do things out of the kindness of your heart, without the expectation of anything in return; even gratitude.

The more good consequences created from an act, the better and more right that act is

As we start to develop our way of living, we have designed laws and culture to follow certain good habits using our reasoning and thinking ability to keep the life smooth, happy, and safe for everyone, Just like I said in above point implementing an act that has good consequences and one of that quality is humility.

Who we are today is our society tomorrow.
We grow up in different circumstances and each of us have grown up with different habits and cultures and good habits, and we teach the same to next generation, so what good are we passing on to next generations is to be more good and inspiring.

Honestly I am no one to guide someone this is how one should live, but I wanted to point out some good act with indirect consequences so that people can understand and can resurrect the missing humility in our society. Good things always helps us and the people around us.

How easy it is?
It is as easy as you imagine. How many of you have watched people doing this?

Imagine someone is struggling to live and homeless, and some one comes with a camera in his face to give him a meal, he had to take it because he is hungry, that moment he needs food, and he was given food, but imagine that feeling of being captured in a camera, being a homeless is not their wish. And that’s the worst thing one can do for him showing a camera and you might want to reveal the world that you are good, but the person on the other side did not wish that. I am not saying one should not help people, I am saying, help, but why in front of a camera?

Ever heard “let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth” Just do it and forget it, everything you do doesn’t need to be seen or heard.

Imagine someone homeless in a party or a trainer in their company party asks a CEO or the head of the company to come and dance with him/her. I am sure most people at that position will not hesitate to do, but not everyone, there are people that give more importance to their position and not for the human being. I am saying all these desire towards a material or money or designation is nothing when it comes to being a human. Let me remind you a small quote “With pride you get curses, with humility you get blessings” Don’t hesitate to come down, because every one of us was at the bottom or will be at bottom one day and let’s not forget that others also a human.

Do not think I target a set of community, I am only trying to make you understand with a situation that you easily grasp, I can give lot more examples and I don’t want to make you feel bored.

There is two thing that always stops a human, being a human it’s called “I” and “Ego”. The moment you realize that, and you let go of “I” and “Ego” you’ll start to feel the difference.

As I mentioned earlier, If you are really humble you will put yourself first when you need to take care of you.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.

There is difference between the two words, read it again if you did not understand.

Nobody stands taller than those willing to stand corrected. Humility is the ability to give up your pride and still retain your dignity. So let’s be an example to our generation and be an inspiration to the future.

Hope I made myself clear. Thanks for reading.
